Adrian W. Wright

Adrian is a highly acclaimed and sought after designer who has been transforming spaces for almost three decades, designing beautiful spaces in the Fort Worth and Dallas area, as well as projects across the country from Boston, MA to Pebble Beach, CA. His designs have graced commercial, residential, hospitality and multifamily properties. After years of developing clientele, working in high-end home interiors retail, and helping clients transform their homes into expressions of their own personal style, Adrian sensed that the time was right to bring to life his vision for a design and home furnishings business. So, in 2002, he opened the doors to Wright at Home, his first store, on the famed bricks of Camp Bowie Blvd in Fort Worth, Texas. About ten years later, after the success of Wright at Home, his passion for all types of design drew him to open WRARE.

Doug PlesKovitch

Before joining Adrian Wright to create WRARE, Doug had an extensive background in retail. His work in the visual merchandising department of department stores and specialty retail eventually led him to a corporate career with Pier 1 Imports. For nearly 16 years Doug worked at Pier 1 in many roles, from training merchandising standards in new stores during their high growth period, to creating the visual merchandising standards for a sub brand called “The Market of Pier 1” in high end malls, eventually leading to a buyer-ship role for all textiles.

After his tenure at Pier 1, Doug moved to product development for wholesalers, using his international import experience to grow those businesses. Most recently, Doug helped create the textile department for Mackenzie-Childs, a famed high end brand, along with development of product for a bedding brand on the Home Shopping Network.

In 2011, Doug decided to support Adrian’s business growth and became an integral part of the creation of the WRARE brand. His passion for retail and brand development moved him to support the brand full time and since then, it’s truly become a part of him. Doug continues to pursue design opportunities and is most passionate about helping other small businesses grow their own brands and style.
